BOATYARD
REGULATIONS AND POLICIES
1. This is a private boatyard for CURACAO MARINE
employees and boat owners and crew only.
2. Outside contractors may be permitted after registration
and approval by CURACAO MARINE management.
3. No outside contractors will be allowed to perform
work on this property that CURACAO MARINE employees
perform.
4. Having work done on your vessel while on CURACAO
MARINE property by a unlicensed or uninsured contractor
releases CURACAO MARINE from all liability in connection
with that vessel, except for proven negligence by
a CURACAO MARINE employee.
5. You must clean your area daily and be responsible
for the proper disposal of waste material.
6. Do not dump anything in our closed loop wash
down system.
7. Waste oil and old battery’s can be disposed
of in the building next to the slipway.
8. The dumpster is for “normal” garbage,
large projects and major waste must be disposed
off with approval of the management.
9. Please do not plug the dumpster with tarpaulins
or old cushions, use good judgment and we will get
along just fine.
10. Your area must be clean before launch.
Sandblasting is not allowed and spray painting can
only be done by CURACAO MARINE employees.
11. CURACAO MARINE requires total containment of
your mess, if you are not complying your job will
be stopped.
12. Pets must be on a leash, this is for customer
and pet safety, you must clean up after your pet.
13. No parking in the boatyard, Vehicles may load
and unload only in work areas and park in parking
areas, do not leave vehicles unattended in work
areas, if cars are in the way of the boat lift or
blocking access to shops they will be towed away.
14. Shops and covered areas are off limits for your
safety, please stay out of these CURACAO MARINE
areas unless you have permission off the management.
15. Please do not distract employees while working
on other customers boats
(this is not our hobby this is how we make a living),
if you have questions or need help, please seek
out the management.
16. Please report any unsafe practice or polluting
condition to the management immediately, our commitment
is to run a safe, efficient and clean operation.
17. Do not shift or tamper with boat stands, only
CURACAO MARINE employees can
re-block boats.
18. No fueling or transferring of fuel (gas or diesel)
without management approval.
19. It is not allowed to put up any laundry lines
anywhere in the boatyard.
20. It is not allowed to go up the mast or set any
sails while your vessel is in the boatyard.
21. No one will be allowed to remain on the boat
during handling.
22. We only lend tools with a operator attached
– we charge for operators see under services.
23.
The speed limit is 10 kph.
24. We can not be liable for any damage to a vessel
due to its inability to withstand normal haul &
launch as a result of its age design or construction.
25. Please do not help yourself to boatyard equipment,
materials or stores. If you require something, please
ask a yard employee or at the office.
25. If you have children, they are your responsibility
and in the interest of safety, please attend to
them.
26. When you leave the Island when your vessel is
in storage you need to provide emigration with a
letter that the vessel is under supervision of CURACAO
MARINE, this letter will be provided by the management.
27. All bills must be paid before launching. NO
CASH NO SPLASH. |
